the unincorporated war

In a world in which humans themselves have become incorporated and most people no longer own a majority of themselves, one man - owned by no one and owning no one - dares to fight those who'd enslave him. Exiled and hunted, Justin Cord must now lead a revolution in order to birth a nation.

SCI FI has teamed up with Tor Books, the largest publisher of science fiction and fantasy in the world, to spotlight some of the best new science-fiction novels, from both new and established authors.

The 6,000 mile road trip is over and wow, was it ever worth it! Besides rolling in to our friends' home in Denver, Chicago and Montreal at obscene hours (and their all having forgiven us) we also got to meet a fresh round of new faces excited about the book. I also had the pleasure of hanging out with Lou Anders, multiple Hugo award nominee and senior editor of Pyr Books. I'd say the highlight of the con was a Sunday panel Eytan and I were on about SF and Econ. It included Hugo nominee, Karl Shroeder as moderator, Hugo award winner, Charlie Stross and Aurora award winner, Hayden Trenholm. In room built for 200 we packed in 250+. Who knew econ could be so interesting? We got back late Thursday afternoon and were rewarded Sunday morning by seeing our book highlighted in the Sunday Comics version of Unshelved! Click on the image below to see it in full view.
